Field Trip to Crouch

Real estate has some incredible perks. One of which is meeting new people and developing new friendships. My client Leslie and I have a lot in common. We both want to have a few acres, raise a few chickens and a goat so we can make our own goat cheese. An instant bond developed between us. Leslie and her husband are looking for some acreage with a unique, comfortable home. So, need I say, she and I have lots of fun on our road trips looking at various properties.

Last week we took a short trip to view a house in Crouch, Idaho. From Eagle it took us about one hour to get to this quaint little town. It had snowed, and unable to drive up to the house, Leslie and I walked down the snowy lane about 20 yards. Good thing we had our boots on as the snow came all the way up to our knees. Leslie thought she should document this adventure by taking a photo with her cell phone. Not the sharpest image but truly in the spirit of our house hunting adventure.

New Property Listing, 200 Acres in Emmett, Idaho

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Welcome 2010!

January 1st is one of my favorite days of the year. It is the day I make my list of goals I wish to accomplish for the year, and top on my list this year is starting a real estate blog; it looks like I am off to a great start!!

It is no secret that 2009 was a bit of an economic bummer. As much as we all want to rehash it, there isn’t anything we can do about good ole 2009. I am a firm believer of learning from yesterday and that positive opportunities await me today. Call me an idealist, a romantic, but I can’t help it! I am a positive thinker. I believe in every situation there is some positive in there somewhere. And you know what? That makes me very excited about what is in store for 2010!

The goal for my blog is to feature new listings, showcase new and exciting marketing, celebrate my clients closings, and to share other important real estate stuff. And heck, perhaps make several new friends along the way.

Welcome, 2010, I am so glad to meet you!
